I never bought things from Ebay. I doubted its quality, especially for cheap stuff from China. I still do though. But one time I was looking for a camera bag and it was so expensive in here. The lowest price should be around 50€ (that hurts my student budget). Then I decided to search on Ebay and found something for around 13€ with free international shipping. Well it is too cheap (for a camera bag) that I thought "Well, why not? It's anyway too cheap. If the quality ain't good, what can I expect with such a price?". I paid and waited for a month. When I opened the package, it turned way much better than my expectation. Brand-new, pretty good quality and also nice looking.
And I thought it could be just my luck. Buying cheap stuff is like playing lotto. You don't give much hope to it but if you get something for such a good bargain, it's your luck!
Since then I don't get back to Ebay. Yesterday I was bored and got to surf on Ebay. I found quite many things which are crazily cheap, like under 10€ for bags and shoes. Again, with such a price I don't hope to get a very high-quality product. But... who doesn't like cheap? Also if you buy things that you think it's just trendy for a short period of time, it's better to buy something inexpensive.
Have you ever bought something on Ebay (or anywhere else) like that? Or you prefer to make sense of every pennies you spend?
I buy things from ebay all the time as well but I try not to get anything from Asia because it takes forever to get them since so much comes out of the country. I already have to wait 2 weeks when most people wait a few days so a month is to long for me lol.
ReplyDeleteActually almost everything I get I buy from ebay.
